Syed Aliyar Shah Joined as Research Assistant at National Centre of Robotics & Automation
Syed Aliyar Shah has joined the National Centre of Robotics & Automation as a Research Assistant, adding another significant milestone to his rapidly growing career in mechanical engineering, robotics, and advanced research.
In his new role, Aliyar is leading mechanical design and R&D initiatives for advanced robotic systems, contributing to the development of quadruped robots through innovative work in robotic mechanics, inverse kinematics, humanoid locomotion, CAD/CAM, rapid prototyping, and structural optimization. His responsibilities also include integrating multidisciplinary engineering solutions that support the commercialization of next-generation robotic technologies.
Alongside his research role, Aliyar continues to serve as a Mechanical Design and Simulation Engineer at Ohmitron, Inc., where he contributes to the design and simulation of high-voltage lithium-ion battery packs, electric vehicle systems, megawatt fast-charging infrastructure, and power electronics. His expertise spans CAD/CAE, FEA, CFD, thermal analysis, structural mechanics, and advanced product development for cutting-edge EV technologies.
