1. Assistant Manager, Legal
Department: Legal & Corporate Affairs
Location: Lahore, Head Office
Experience: 3 to 6 years
Qualification: LL.B. with Bar enrollment. Foreign law qualification or LL.M. is also mentioned as relevant qualification.
Outfitters Stores is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager, Legal to support its legal and corporate affairs function. The ideal candidate should have 3 to 6 years of experience in a corporate legal department or reputable law firm.
Job Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting a range of domestic and international legal and corporate matters, including:
- Identifying, tracking, and ensuring timely fulfillment of corporate compliance obligations for the Group’s international entities across the UK, USA, UAE, and Canada
- Maintaining an updated jurisdiction-wise compliance matrix
- Reviewing, vetting, and negotiating international lease agreements, amendments, and renewals
- Coordinating with local solicitors and external legal counsel for overseas locations
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating corporate and commercial agreements
- Handling agreements related to vendors, procurement, consultancy, marketing, IT, services, warehousing, e-commerce, supply chain, franchise/distribution, and confidentiality
- Managing the Group’s intellectual property portfolio, including filings, registrations, oppositions, and renewals
- Addressing unauthorized use of intellectual property across websites, social media, and digital marketplaces
- Supporting company-secretarial activities for overseas subsidiaries
- Preparing and coordinating responses to legal notices, show-cause notices, and regulatory correspondence
- Supporting domestic store-level legal matters, including lease deeds, addenda, tenancy, and landlord-related matters
- Maintaining organized physical and digital records of contracts, leases, IP records, corporate filings, and regulatory correspondence
