Mukarram Hasan has joined National Bank of Pakistan

Mukarram Hasan has joined National Bank of Pakistan as Corporate Head South (EVP), marking another significant milestone in his distinguished banking career. With more than 𝟮𝟮 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 of experience in corporate and Islamic banking, he brings extensive expertise in corporate finance, relationship management, trade finance, credit analysis, and business growth.

Before joining National Bank of Pakistan, Mukarram served as Regional Corporate Head – South at BankIslami Pakistan Limited. Earlier, he held senior leadership positions at Meezan Bank Limited, Standard Chartered, and Dubai Islamic Bank Pakistan, where he played a key role in strengthening corporate banking operations and strategic client relationships.

Mukarram holds an MBA in Corporate Finance and Islamic Banking from the IBA Karachi, providing a strong academic foundation that complements his extensive leadership experience in Pakistan’s banking sector.
