Deputy Manager IE (Industrial Engineer)

Qualification
Candidates should have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering field
Experience Required
Applicants should have:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience at Deputy Manager level
- 6 to 8 years of overall relevant Industrial Engineering experience
- Manufacturing industry experience will be preferred
Key Skills and Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- Strong knowledge of Industrial Engineering tools
- Expertise in Time Study and Motion Study
- Strong understanding of SMV and Line Balancing
- Hands-on experience in Capacity Planning and Manpower Planning
- Good understanding of Lean Manufacturing
- Knowledge of Kaizen and 5S
- Experience with continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good command of MS Excel
- Strong reporting skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Leadership and team management skills
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting and leading Industrial Engineering activities across production operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading Industrial Engineering activities across production operations
- Conducting time studies, SMV analysis, cycle time studies, line balancing, and capacity analysis
- Planning and optimizing manpower utilization according to production targets
- Monitoring efficiency, productivity, and OEE
- Identifying production bottlenecks and developing improvement opportunities
- Implementing Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborating with Production, Quality, Planning, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams
- Analysing production data and preparing daily, weekly, and monthly Industrial Engineering reports
- Supporting process improvement initiatives
- Contributing to new product development activities
- Supporting production line setup
- Identifying operational challenges and developing practical solutions
- Working with cross functional teams to improve productivity and manufacturing efficiency
