With nearly 𝟭𝟱 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 of experience in power generation, industrial utilities, and renewable energy, Umair brings extensive expertise in leading large-scale energy transformation initiatives. His professional journey spans thermal power plants, solar PV, wind energy, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), biomass projects, and hybrid microgrid solutions, making him a recognized leader in Pakistan’s evolving energy sector.

Before joining Umar Textiles, he served as Deputy General Manager – Power & Engineering Projects at Gul Ahmed Textile Mills Limited, where he successfully led high-impact renewable energy and power infrastructure projects, including utility-scale solar installations, battery storage systems, biomass energy solutions, and advanced thermal power initiatives. His strong background in project management, operational excellence, and sustainable energy integration positions him to drive innovation and operational efficiency in his new leadership role.
