Fisbah Yaqoob Appointed as Relationship Manager – Corporate Banking at UBL

Fisbah Yaqoob has embarked on an exciting new chapter in her banking career with her appointment as Relationship Manager – Corporate Banking (AVP-I) at UBL – United Bank Limited. With a strong background in corporate banking, relationship management, financial analysis, and structured financing, she continues to strengthen her presence in Pakistan’s corporate and investment banking landscape.

Prior to joining UBL – United Bank Limited, Fisbah built a solid career at Askari Bank, where she progressed from Management Trainee Officer (OG-I) to Associate Relationship Manager – Corporate Banking (OG-I) and later Relationship Manager – Corporate Banking (AMG). During her tenure, she managed corporate client portfolios, structured funded and non-funded financing facilities, handled trade finance operations, conducted credit and financial analysis, and supported clients across industries including Oil & Gas, Refining, Steel, Cement, Textile, Power, Technology, Foods, and Sugar. Earlier in her career, she also gained experience as a Copy Writer at Dahr, founded the entrepreneurial venture Awear Apparel, and worked as a Research & Development Engineering Intern at Sawayra, Inc.

Fisbah holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology and also served in Research & Development Leadership with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE). Her unique blend of engineering expertise, analytical thinking, and corporate banking experience continues to position her for success in the financial services sector.
