Kashif Soomro – CAMP, CTCS, DITM has embarked on a new professional chapter, joining Soneri Bank Limited as SVP1 – Regional Head Branch Operations South I, overseeing Karachi and Balochistan. With over two decades of experience in the banking sector, he brings extensive expertise in branch operations, operational governance, risk management, regulatory compliance, and process transformation.

Prior to joining Soneri Bank Limited, Kashif served as SVP – Unit Head, Systems & Operations at Al Baraka Bank Pakistan Ltd., where he focused on strengthening operational controls, developing policies and standard operating procedures, and aligning banking processes with regulatory requirements. His experience also includes operational management at Bank Alfalah Limited, contributing to improved branch efficiency, customer service, and compliance standards.

Throughout his career, Kashif has developed a strong track record in process re-engineering, internal controls, centralized operations, and operational risk management. His leadership approach emphasizes service excellence, continuous improvement, and building efficient, customer-focused banking operations.
