Job Overview
Amreli Steels Limited is looking for a detail-oriented and capable Treasury Officer to support its financial and treasury operations.
The role involves daily cash and fund management, payment processing, bank account administration, foreign exchange transactions, financing documentation, cash flow forecasting, bank reconciliation, and maintaining strong relationships with banks and financial institutions.
The ideal candidate should have a sound understanding of treasury and cash management, banking operations, financial transactions, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the company’s daily funds position.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly cash flow forecasts.
- Process daily payments through RTGS and IBFT.
- Manage the opening and closing of bank accounts.
- Ensure timely updating of authorized bank signatories in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Negotiate exchange rates for the retirement of import documents.
- Submit retirement documents to banks and ensure timely processing.
- Support the annual renewal of financing facilities and related documentation.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
- Generate and present regular treasury activity reports to the Line Manager and Head of Department.
- Support internal and external audit processes.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Assist in ensuring efficient and compliant treasury operations.
Qualification & Experience
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Professional Experience
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on relevant experience.
- Experience in treasury, banking, financial operations, or cash management is highly relevant.
- Candidates with experience in FMCG, building materials, retail marketing, or related industries may also be considered based on relevant financial and treasury exposure.
