Waqar Zahoor has been promoted to Production Manager at Philip Morris International, marking another significant milestone in his leadership journey. In his new role, he will lead manufacturing operations with a strong focus on production excellence, operational efficiency, sustainability, and continuous improvement across the organization.

Prior to this promotion, Waqar served in several key leadership roles at Philip Morris International, including Manager EHS & Sustainability, Engineering Lead, Sustainability Lead, and Sustainability Specialist, where he successfully drove engineering excellence, environmental sustainability, safety transformation, and operational performance. Earlier, he built a strong foundation at GSK through the prestigious Global Future Leaders Programme, progressing across Production, Operational Excellence, and EHS leadership roles. He also gained valuable early industry exposure through internships at Engro Corp, SPEL Products, and IV & EE Chaklala Garrison.

Waqar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the NUST, where he developed the technical expertise and leadership foundation that have supported his continued growth in the manufacturing industry.
