Mariyam Shahid Joined as Fashion Designer at BATIK Pakistan

Mariyam Shahid has embarked on a new creative chapter as Fashion Designer at BATIK Pakistan, bringing her expertise in textile design, print making, fabric development, and surface embellishment to the role.

Her professional journey includes experience as a Management Trainee Officer at Soorty Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., where she gained exposure to product development and product management, along with earlier experience as a Fashion Designer at Glamour Garment. She has also explored creative and commercial opportunities through freelance affiliate marketing and a creative internship, building a diverse foundation across fashion and design.

Mariyam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Textile Designing from the Asian Institute of Fashion Design, complementing her creative expertise with a strong academic foundation in the textile and fashion industry.
